We are excited to announce that we are extending the season for our Winter CSA shares!
We have expanded our winter growing capacity with greenhouse space and low tunnels over field crops and we have gained access to new root storage facilities.
We are now offering a Winter CSA share that runs from late October through May with 14 distributions. We are thrilled to now truly be able to provide fresh, local vegetables to our CSA members year-round!
If you have already signed up for a Winter Share please read this carefully as the new Winter Harvest Share replaces our old one! Existing members can upgrade to the Winter Harvest Share here. (We have a limited number of shares available so we can only offer spots to members signing up for all 14 weeks of the season. If you don't wish to upgrade to the Winter Harvest Share we will issue you a refund.)
The Winter Harvest Share runs every other week (with some exceptions in January) right up until the Summer Share begins again in June. Shares will include tons of fresh greens like spinach, kale, lettuce, salad mix, herbs and bunched roots - all from our greenhouses - as well as stored winter squash, garlic, onions, potatoes, carrots, beets and other roots, plus occasional treats from neighboring farms such as apples, pears, cider, yogurt, flour, cheese, jam, etc. Eggs will be offered as an add-on.
